A Linux x86-64 machine or VM (Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 recommended), Node.js 18 or higher, and a PostgreSQL 14+ database. Docker is optional: if it is installed, start.sh can create a local PostgreSQL container for you. Suggested size for an evaluation: 4 vCPU, 16 GiB RAM, 100 GiB SSD.
Extract the downloaded package and run the startup script. The folder inside is named with the version, for example aiprunr-hybrid-v1.6.21.
On first start, the Setup Wizard opens at http://<your-vm>:8888. Enter your licence key, keep the generated Admin API Key somewhere safe (you need it to sign in), and set the database. The dashboard then runs on port 3001 (HTTPS when a certificate is installed). To keep it running after a reboot, run sudo ./install-service.sh.

Yes. AIPrunr adheres to a "Zero Egress" policy. Your cloud credentials and usage data stay in your own PostgreSQL database and are never sent to us. Cloud credentials are encrypted (AES-256-GCM); use an encrypted disk for the rest.
If you choose to continue, contact sales@sansidera.com for an annual licence. If not, stop the appliance and delete the folder. No charges are incurred.
No. AIPrunr only requests Read-Only permissions (e.g., ce:GetCostAndUsageWithResources, ec2:DescribeInstances). It generates a report of "Zombie" assets, but you must take the final action to terminate them.
